2-Day Tour to Zagora
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Zagora
Our tour begins with a drive across the High Atlas Mountains via Tichka, which is at 2,260m above sea level. Then we will continue to the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
Next we go south until we reach the Anti Atlas, following the Draa Valley to Zagora. There we will mount our camels for our onward journey into the desert.
We will watch the sunset and spend an unforgettable evening in the company of the kind and hospitable nomadic people of the desert. We will take a dinner of Moroccan food and sleep in traditional tents. An evening of lifetime memories.
Day 2: Zagora - Draa Valley - Taouirt Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
The plan for the day is as follows: After witnessing the spectacular sunrise and enjoying breakfast in the desert, we will once again mount our camels and leave the desert through the Draa Valley, the largest in Morocco.
Our next stop will be Agdz, where we will take a short break before continuing to Ouarzazate where we visit the Kasbah of Taouirt. This building was constructed using adobe, which is straw and mud. This type of construction epitomises the beauty and solidarity of the Kasbah.
Our return to Marrakech marks the end of our tour.
